Zafrat Terms
Last updated:
To keep Zafrat comfortable and close for everyone, these Terms explain what can be posted, how reports work, and where the Service’s limits are. By using Zafrat, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
"Service" or "Zafrat" means this website and related features. "We", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of the Service. "You" and "User" refer to anyone who accesses or uses the Service. "Content" means any text or data posted through the Service.
2. Eligibility & age
You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence to use the Service independently. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Nature of Zafrat
Zafrat is an anonymous place to write what is on your mind and receive supportive reactions. Content is created by users, reflects only its authors, and is neither endorsed nor verified by us. The Service does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or any other professional advice, and is not a substitute for it. See the Help page.
4. Your content & licence
- You retain any ownership rights you have in the Content you post.
- By posting Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable licence to host, store, display, reproduce, modify (for technical or moderation purposes), distribute, and make the Content publicly available through the Service and its channels, including public share pages.
- You confirm that you have the necessary rights to the Content and that posting it does not violate any third-party right or any law.
- Remember that Content may be public, shareable, and indexable. Do not post anything you would not want others to see.
5. What belongs on Zafrat
You agree not to do, or enable others to do, any of the following:
- Post unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others (including intellectual-property and privacy rights).
- Incite hatred, violence, or discrimination, or engage in harassment, bullying, or threats.
- Encourage self-harm, suicide, or harm to others.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Post sexually explicit or obscene content, or any content that exploits minors in any way.
- Send spam, advertising, or fraudulent material, or distribute malicious links or software.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Service, circumvent security measures or rate limits, or perform unauthorized automated access (such as crawling or scraping).
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
6. Anonymity & moderation
The anonymity offered to users is not absolute protection. For abuse prevention, moderation, and legal compliance, we log technical data such as IP address, browser, and device information, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we may disclose it where required by law. We are not obligated to monitor Content, but we may hide, remove, or refuse Content that violates these Terms or harms the Service or its users. Three reports may automatically hide a post until it is reviewed.
7. Reporting, takedowns & copyright
You can report violating content using the report button on each post or through our contact form. If you believe content infringes your intellectual-property rights, send a notice that includes: a description of the protected work, the URL of the infringing content, your contact details, and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate. We will address valid notices within a reasonable time.
8. Third-party links & advertising
The Service may contain third-party links, services, or advertising. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service and all of its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or complete security. We do not warrant the accuracy or suitability of any user-posted content. You use the Service and content solely at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither we nor our directors, employees, or agents will be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or psychological or physical well-being, arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any Content.
11. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the Content you post and for your use of the Service, including any claims that may arise from your breach of these Terms or your violation of the rights of others.
12. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or limit access, or remove Content, where reasonably necessary, for example to comply with the law, enforce these Terms, or protect the Service and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
13. Changes
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted with an updated "Last updated" date, and your continued use of the Service afterwards constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
15. General
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. You may not assign your rights under them without our consent; we may assign our rights and obligations.
